The story behind the name

Why is it called Club 27?

All five artists celebrated by the show died at the age of 27. Their extraordinary talent, short lives and lasting cultural impact gave rise to the name “Club 27”.

The production does more than perform famous songs. Each dedicated singer recreates the voice, movement, visual identity and unmistakable attitude of their artist. The arrangements respect the original sound while the staging brings five distinct musical worlds together in one coherent concert.

From psychedelic rock and blues to soul and grunge, Club 27 travels through generations of music without losing the detail and authenticity that make every legend instantly recognisable.
